Overview

A reversal strategy that trades divergences between price and the Commodity Channel Index (CCI). When price makes a new extreme but CCI fails to confirm, it signals weakening momentum and a probable reversal, which the strategy trades with structure confirmation.

Trading Strategy

Entry logic: – Bullish divergence: price makes a lower low but CCI makes a higher low, with CCI turning up from below -100. Enter on a confirming bullish candle / minor structure break.

• Bearish divergence: price higher high, CCI lower high, CCI turning down from above +100.

Exit logic: – Exit at the prior swing / mean or when CCI reaches the opposite extreme.

Stop-loss: SL beyond the divergence swing extreme plus an ATR buffer.

Take-profit: TP1 at 1.5R, TP2 at the prior structural level or CCI opposite extreme for the runner.

Trailing stop: Trail behind new swings once 1.5R is reached.

Break-even: Break-even at 1R.

• Timeframes: H1, H4.
• Instruments: EURUSD, GBPUSD, XAUUSD, USOIL, US30.

• VPS: Recommended for 24/5 uptime and consistent execution
• Risk management: Risk 0.75% per trade (reversal risk). Max 2 open. Require structure confirmation, not divergence alone.

Installation Guide

1. Download the .ex4 (MT4) or .ex5 (MT5) file from your purchase delivery.
2. Open MetaTrader, go to File → Open Data Folder.
3. Copy the file into MQL4/Experts (MT4) or MQL5/Experts (MT5).
4. Restart MetaTrader or right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator and select Refresh.
5. Drag the EA onto the chart of your chosen symbol and timeframe.
6. Enable Allow live trading (and Allow DLL imports if prompted) in the Common tab.
7. Adjust inputs to match your risk profile, then click OK.
8. Confirm AutoTrading is enabled in the toolbar.

• Session filter: London and New York sessions.
• Spread filter: Reject if spread > 2.5 pips / symbol threshold.
• News filter: Pause entries 15 minutes around high-impact news.
