Short Description:
Williams %R Momentum Fade EA is a fully automated momentum pullback / fade. Expert Advisor for MT4 and MT5. A short-term counter-move strategy using Williams %R to fade over-extension within a broader trend. Built-in risk controls and market filters keep execution disciplined across live and demo accounts.
Overview
A short-term counter-move strategy using Williams %R to fade over-extension within a broader trend. It waits for %R to reach extreme readings, then re-enter the trend direction as %R exits the extreme, capturing the resumption after a stretch.
Features
- Williams %R (14)
- EMA100 (trend filter)
- ATR(14)
- Configurable stop-loss, take-profit, and trailing logic
- Session, spread, and news-time filters for disciplined execution
- One-trade-per-bar / duplicate-signal protection
- Clean, single-file MQL4 and MQL5 implementations
- No hidden logic — every input is exposed and documented
- No martingale, no grid, no hidden recovery logic
Trading Strategy
Entry logic: – Long: price > EMA100 (uptrend). %R dips below -80 (oversold within uptrend) then crosses back above -80. Enter on the cross.
- Short: price < EMA100. %R rises above -20 then crosses back below -20.
Exit logic: – Exit when %R reaches the opposite extreme or on trend invalidation (EMA100 cross).
Stop-loss: SL beyond the recent minor swing or 1.5 × ATR, whichever is tighter.
Take-profit: TP at 2R; scale 50% at 1R.
Trailing stop: Trail behind minor swings once 1.5R reached.
Break-even: Break-even at 1R.
Why it works: Times pullback re-entries within trends.; Simple, responsive oscillator..
