Overview
An ICT strategy that enters at the Optimal Trade Entry zone — the 62%-79% Fibonacci retracement of an impulse leg — in the direction of the higher-timeframe bias and after a market structure shift. It targets premium/discount pricing for institutional-quality entries.
Features
- Fibonacci OTE zone (0.62-0.79)
- Market structure shift (MSS) detection
- Fair value gap / order block confluence
- Configurable stop-loss, take-profit, and trailing logic
- Session, spread, and news-time filters for disciplined execution
- One-trade-per-bar / duplicate-signal protection
- Clean, single-file MQL4 and MQL5 implementations
- No hidden logic — every input is exposed and documented
- No martingale, no grid, no hidden recovery logic
Trading Strategy
Entry logic: – Establish HTF bias (bullish/bearish) via structure.
- After an MSS in the bias direction, mark the impulse leg and draw Fib.
- Long: price retraces into the 0.62-0.79 OTE zone (discount), ideally overlapping an FVG/OB. Enter on a bullish reaction in the zone.
- Short: mirror in premium (0.62-0.79 of a down leg).
Exit logic: – Exit at the prior liquidity / opposing structure; partials at the 0% (leg origin extreme) and beyond.
Stop-loss: SL just beyond the 0.79-1.0 zone (below the swing low for longs), plus a small buffer.
Take-profit: TP1 at the −0.5 to −1 extension (prior high), TP2 at external liquidity for 3-5R.
Trailing stop: Trail behind new structure once the move develops.
Break-even: Break-even at 1R.
Why it works: Deep, high-R:R institutional-style entries.; Strong ICT community demand..
