Trading Strategy

Entry logic: – Anchor AVWAP at the most recent significant swing extreme.

• Mean-reversion mode: Long when price reaches the -2σ band and shows rejection while AVWAP is flat/rising. Short at +2σ.
• Continuation mode: when price holds above AVWAP and bounces from the +1σ band in an uptrend, enter long continuation.

Exit logic: – Mean-reversion: exit at AVWAP (mean). Continuation: exit at the next σ band or on AVWAP cross.

Stop-loss: SL beyond the 3σ band (mean-reversion) or beyond the last swing (continuation), plus ATR buffer.

Take-profit: Mean-reversion TP at AVWAP; continuation TP at the next σ band for 2R+.

Trailing stop: Continuation trades trail along AVWAP; mean-reversion uses fixed targets.

Break-even: Break-even at 1R.

Recommended Settings

• Timeframes: M15, H1.

• VPS: Recommended for 24/5 uptime and consistent execution

Installation Guide

1. Download the .ex4 (MT4) or .ex5 (MT5) file from your purchase delivery.
2. Open MetaTrader, go to File → Open Data Folder.
3. Copy the file into MQL4/Experts (MT4) or MQL5/Experts (MT5).
4. Restart MetaTrader or right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator and select Refresh.
5. Drag the EA onto the chart of your chosen symbol and timeframe.
6. Enable Allow live trading (and Allow DLL imports if prompted) in the Common tab.
7. Adjust inputs to match your risk profile, then click OK.
8. Confirm AutoTrading is enabled in the toolbar.

• Session filter: Intraday sessions where volume is meaningful; re-anchor per session if desired.
• Spread filter: Reject if spread > 1.5 index points / 1.5 pips FX.
• News filter: Anchor to major news candles deliberately, but avoid new entries 5 minutes around fresh releases.
• Volatility filter: Require band width (σ) above a minimum so mean-reversion targets are worthwhile.
