EMA Pullback Risk Reward Strategy [algo_aakash] | Smart Trend Following Indicator
Trend-following strategies continue to be among the most effective approaches in financial markets. However, many traders struggle with identifying the right pullback entries while maintaining proper risk management. This TradingView Pine Script indicator solves that problem by combining EMA trend confirmation, pullback detection, entry confirmation, and automatic Risk-Reward calculations into a complete trading system.
Instead of chasing price after a strong move, this strategy waits for a healthy pullback toward key exponential moving averages and then generates BUY or SELL signals when momentum resumes in the trend direction.
Strategy Overview
This indicator uses three important moving averages:

- 25 EMA
- 50 EMA
- 100 EMA
These EMAs help identify trend direction and provide dynamic support and resistance zones where pullbacks commonly occur.
The indicator also automatically calculates:
- Entry Price
- Stop Loss
- Take Profit
- Risk Reward Ratio
This removes emotional decision-making and helps traders maintain consistent risk management.
How The Strategy Works
Bullish Trend Conditions
A bullish trend is confirmed when:
- 25 EMA is above 50 EMA
- 50 EMA is above 100 EMA
This alignment indicates strong upward momentum.
Bullish Pullback Setup
After a bullish trend is established:
- Price retraces back to either the 25 EMA or 50 EMA
- A bullish confirmation candle forms
- Price closes back above the 25 EMA
A BUY signal is then generated.
Bearish Trend Conditions
A bearish trend is confirmed when:
- 25 EMA is below 50 EMA
- 50 EMA is below 100 EMA
This indicates strong downward momentum.
Bearish Pullback Setup
After a bearish trend is established:
- Price pulls back into the 25 EMA or 50 EMA
- A bearish confirmation candle forms
- Price closes below the 25 EMA
A SELL signal is generated.
Automatic Risk Reward Calculation
One of the most useful features of this indicator is automatic trade management.
For every trade, the script calculates:
Entry Price
Based on the confirmation candle close.
Stop Loss
Placed around the 50 EMA with an adjustable buffer.
Take Profit
Calculated automatically using the selected Risk Reward Ratio.
This helps traders instantly visualize:
- Risk Exposure
- Profit Targets
- Trade Quality
without performing manual calculations.
